As 2022 comes to a close, One World Initiative Advocacy looks ahead to a brighter future as the new year approaches; Future interviews will focus on economic issues.
OWI has added a major new platform in support of the United Nation’s effort known as Sustainable Development Goal 17, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering enhanced international relationships and assisting developing nations with sustainable support, citing 17 specific goals (thus the name) also known as SDG 17 or Global Goal 17)
The goals were established under this, the organization’s mission statement: “To strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.”
If that sound familiar, it is because SDG 17 goals are a mirror image of One World Initiative Advocacy’s. Our shared goals are in perfect alignment. Because of that, OWI throws its complete support and offers its facilities in behalf of our sister organization SDG 17. Our organization will continue to work with and feature the group’s progress in support of their and our joint missions.
SDG 17 seeks to instill collaboration between nations of the world in pursuit its goals by the year 2030 within five specific categories: Finance, Technology, Capacity Building, Trade and Systemic Issues, in a call for countries to align policies.
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are targeting the following: Poverty, Hunger, Health, Education, Gender Equality, Energy, Economic Growth, Industry, Inequalities on all levels, Sustainable Communities, Responsible Consumption, Climate Change, Marine Life, Environment, Social Justice, and International Partnerships.
OWI is proud join hands with this fellow nonprofit in order to build a better world for our and future generations.
